Everybody loves to collect souvenirs while on trips to places, that you have loved traveling. We connect our sweet and cherish able memories with them and also adds to the beauty of our living rooms. They can be an representation of local handicraft, a gift to oneself or the loved ones, or a piece of history for somebody. They appear beautiful to some, priceless to some, whereas for others, they may look ugly or wastage of hard earned money. It is all the matter of perspective.
Here in this above image, I found such souvenir shops on the streets of Alleppey, Kerala during one of my trips in 2009-10. It was truly a colourful shop, selling a wide range of articles. Bought a few articles for decorating my living room and didnot forget to take some snapshots !!!
